Dr. R. Jason Yong is a staff Anesthesiologist at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and serves as the Director of the Pain Management Center at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.  He completed both his Anesthesiology residency and Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Brigham and Women's hospital.  He then joined the anesthesia faculty at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland before returning to Boston. Throughout his career, Dr. Yong has been recognized with several awards for excellence in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. He also has a passion for international health and has spent time on global surgery mission trips to Rwanda, Brazil, the Ivory Coast, Ecuador, Mexico, and Guatemala.
